Global Sales Manager

Location: Oslo, Norway or Bangkok, Thailand (ideally already with a valid work permit)

As a Sales Manager, you will focus on converting inbound leads to customers as well as outbound prospecting. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast paced, technology-centric environment and has an instinct for, and experience with closing deals.

The perfect candidate has 4-8 years of experience in SaaS or technology sales, ideally with background in agriculture or emerging markets. The individual needs to demonstrate a sense of urgency, passion in their work, a desire to delight prospective customers and hit revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of deals and opportunities through researching prospects and nurturing leads from various sources
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Farmforce’s value proposition, product and fee structures.
  • Schedule and conduct intro calls with target organizations – Fortune 500 multi-nationals to global NGOs, building relationships with C-Level execs and operations managers
  • Hit monthly targets through mastering how to successfully sell Farmforce – ensuring revenue objectives are met and contributing to Farmforce’s rapid growth
  • Write and deliver great sales proposals tailored to prospective customers’ needs, including solutions-led RFP responses and new business pitches
  • Reporting and monthly leads analysis to improve sales, submitted to CEO and Board of Directors
  • Conduct demos of the Farmforce platform to prospective clients
  • Participate in regular training and information to learn the ins and outs of relevant software tools
  • Interface and collaborate with Marketing and Client Service team members on projects

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of work experience with a proven record of B2B sales success in SaaS, AgTech or FinTech
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • Excellent selling, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Success in developing relationships that create traction with decision makers in target companies
  • Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • Thrives in a rapidly changing, fast paced tech start-up environment
  • Experience with Hubspot or Pipedrive to manage sales pipelines.
  • Willingness to work long hours when required to meet objectives and close sales
  • Fluency in English and additional languages (French and Portuguese a major plus)
  • Right to work in Norway/EU or Thailand

Implementation Analyst

Location: Bangkok, Thailand or Oslo, Norway

As an Implementation Analyst, you will focus on testing our products and services, data analysis, and ongoing customer support. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast paced, technology-centric environment and has a background in agriculture or emerging markets. The individual needs to demonstrate a sense of urgency, passion in their work with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis

  • Assessment and uploading of Client data onto their designated Farmforce servers.
  • Configuration of Farmforce servers according to the Clients’ needs.
  • Support Implementation and Operations on Client documentation.

Customer Support

  • Monitoring and reports on usage levels and issues with Corporate Clients.
  • Provide on-site and remote 2nd line support to Clients and assist with 3rd line support.
  • Follow ups with Clients on pending technical and non-technical issues.
  • Support Account Reviews and Business Analysis discussions.

Testing

  • Execute test cases on the web and mobile application in alignment with new features and web releases.
  • Coordinate with Operations on technical defects on the system.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 -3 years working experience in any of the following industries:
    • Software (Enterprise, SaaS)
    • Farming & Agriculture
    • Food/Ingredients Sourcing
    • FMCG/CPG
    • Logistics & Cold Chain
    • Retail, Wholesale, Food Service
    • Food Safety, Auditing & Certification (e.g. HACCP, Global GAP, RFA)
  • Conversational English or higher level is a must.
  • Candidate should be collaborative, resourceful and pragmatic.
  • Candidate should already be present in Bangkok or Oslo, with valid work permits.

Nice to Haves:

  • French, Portuguese (Conversational to Business Level)
  • Experience working / living in Africa

Software Development Project Manager

Location: Oslo, Norway

As the Project Manager, you will manage new software development projects from start to finish, coordinating between relevant Farmforce departments, the Executive Team, external resources, and pilot end users. This cross-functional facilitation is critical to keeping projects progressing, incorporating feedback and communicating progress in technical and layman’s terms to enable clear project visibility.

The perfect candidate has 2+ years of experience in software or IT system project management experience. The individual needs to demonstrate a sense of urgency, passion in their work, and a desire to expand Farmforce’s global visibility and technical platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize software development projects with the team – from creating inception documents, high-level planning, and technical architecture documents – to give management a clear overview on which to provide feedback.
  • Document review discussion outputs and manage feedback cycles to create, improve, and evolve the large software development project designs and action plans.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate the delivery each software development project component, in accordance with organizational and platform requirements.
  • Prepare bi-weekly ongoing project status updates with estimates vs actuals, progress against the timeline and any outstanding decisions to be made.
  • Report on the software development team’s utilization rate every 2 weeks and develop team capacity planning on a rolling 1, 3 and 6-month basis.
  • Prepare monthly invoices for clients for custom software development projects.
  • Facilitate and document planning exercises for upcoming software development projects, involving the operations, development and other relevant teams.
  • For new projects – research partners, commercial considerations, and technical requirements of features/modules, organizing calls with parties to document and then analyze their offerings.
  • Manage planning, technical design, and estimation for roadmap feature implementation, documenting for easy evaluation by management team to prioritize features during workshops.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Farmforce’s value proposition, product and clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate/communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience planning, tracking and facilitating projects using applicable tools (Gantt, Burndowns, MS Projects, etc.)
  • Deep technical knowledge of software and IT system development
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated technical problem-solving skills
  • Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • Thrives in a rapidly changing, fast paced tech start-up environment
  • Experience in New Product Development preferred
  • Fluency in English
  • Right to work in Norway or the EU
