Farmforce is looking for a Product Manager SaaS Solution to lead and facilitate the management of our product portfolio.  This role will report to the Head of Product and Development in Oslo, Norway, working independently and collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.

Product Manager Role and Responsibilities

Role Title: Product Manager

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Oslo, Norway

As the Product manager, you will manage the development of our SaaS solution from idea to launch of new versions and modules. Combining strong market insight with important customer feedback you will be a main contributor to our product roadmap. Cross functional facilitation with the different stakeholders will be an important part of the process of ensuring the best “First Mile System” in the agricultural marketplace.

The perfect candidate has experience in Product Management of SaaS solutions, selling a standardized solution via subscriptions, and experience in driving a process where minimizing the need for customer specific setup, training and support is key.

We are looking for a candidate demonstrating a sense of urgency, passion in their work, and a desire to build on our current success and take it to a new level.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Market Research related to our products
  • Generate Product ideas and supervise pilots
  • Responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog
  • Ensure customer interaction and feedback through pilots and surveys
  • Perform product packaging towards different segments
  • Be one of the main contributors to Product vision and Product Strategy
  • Cultivate relationships with partners
  • Implement a streamlined product launch
  • Perform training and necessary content creation supporting successful Sales

In many of the above responsibilities you will depend on internal or external resources to get the job done, so good project management skills will be highly appreciated

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience (SaaS or an IT based product)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate/communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Business focus with the ability to translate business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa
  • Fluency in English
  • Right to work in Norway or the EU

1. Channel Implementation Analyst Roles and Responsibilities

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Abidjan, Ivory Coast

As a Channel Implementation Analyst, you will focus on providing training and support to Farmforce’s Channel Partners. The role requires close interaction between the Head of Implementation, Channel Director, and Channel Partners conducting on-site deployments. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment and has a can-do attitude. The candidate is also able to demonstrate a sense of urgency, passion in their work with great attention to detail. This position may require regional travel depending on project requirements and needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Detailed knowledge of the Farmforce web and mobile solutions.
  • Provide functional training of the Farmforce web and mobile solutions for Channel Partners conducting implementation activities.
  • Prepare training agenda for Channel Partners to present / demo the Farmforce web and mobile solutions.
  • Provide on-site and remote 2nd line support to Channel Partners and assist with 3rd line support.
  • Follow-ups with Channel Partners on training delivery, outcomes, and project status.
  • Understanding of Customer data provided by Channel Partners.
  • Configuration of Farmforce servers according to the Channel Partner’s needs.
  • Support Implementation and Operations on Channel Partner documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Native French Speaker
  • Minimum TOEFL IBT2 Score of 72-94 (Upper Intermediate Level)
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 -3 years working experience in any of the following industries:
  • Software (Enterprise, SaaS)
  • Producer Organizations, Smallholder Farming & Agriculture
  • Food/Ingredients Sourcing
  • Food Safety Standards, Auditing & Certification (e.g., HACCP, Global GAP, RFA).
  • Candidate should be collaborative, resourceful, and pragmatic.
  • Candidate should already be present in Abidjan with valid work permits.

Farmforce is seeking a SaaS Testing and Release Manager

Project Manager Role and Responsibilities

Role Title: Software Testing and Release Manager

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

As a Software Testing and Release Manager, you will be responsible for the process of testing and releasing new custom built software modules and updated versions of our SaaS web and mobile applications. You will interface with the development and operations teams as needed for test execution, incident management, server and environment configuration and any other action that will help improve the reliability and quality of our solutions.

The perfect candidate has extensive experience fulfilling a testing or test management role in an agile software delivery organization producing high quality web and mobile applications. They must have previous experience in software testing, test management, environment configuration management or release planning of web and mobile (ideally Android) applications.

The individual needs to demonstrate a sense of urgency, thoroughness, passion in their work and a desire to expand Farmforce’s global visibility and technical platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing software requirements and planning the necessary testing of new, custom built software modules and regression testing of releases to maintain Farmforce’s already high level of software quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation of test plans and test approaches for review by operations management and distribution to clients and the software development team to agree and coordinate testing activities.
  • Analyzing software requirements from various sources to create test case lists and scenario documents based on the needs of real-world users to complete goals on the platform
  • Organizing sets of test cases or test cycles and scheduling their execution with a team of testers
  • Executing test cases, as needed, with a team of other testers and operations management staff
  • Reviewing lists of defects and deciding (with operations management staff) whether a release can be put live
  • Investigating technical defects in test environments and the live environments
  • Entering, updating, retesting, and closing defects in Jira
  • Maintaining, organizing, and storing regression test sets
  • Working with the software development team to automate regression test sets that are regularly run
  • Working with the software development team to plan any performance testing needed
  • Executing automated tests and reviewing outputs
  • Configuration management of test environments for different types (functional, integration) of testing
  • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
  • A proven track record of success in software testing and quality management
  • A methodical and logical approach to problem solving with a sense of ownership
  • Driven, self-starter without requiring close supervision, collaborative, comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a dynamic organization
  • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
  • Fluency in English
  • Right to work in Thailand

Implementation Analyst

Location: Bangkok, Thailand or Oslo, Norway

As an Implementation Analyst, you will focus on testing our products and services, data analysis, and ongoing customer support. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast paced, technology-centric environment and has a background in agriculture or emerging markets. The individual needs to demonstrate a sense of urgency, passion in their work with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis

  • Assessment and uploading of Client data onto their designated Farmforce servers.
  • Configuration of Farmforce servers according to the Clients’ needs.
  • Support Implementation and Operations on Client documentation.

Customer Support

  • Monitoring and reports on usage levels and issues with Corporate Clients.
  • Provide on-site and remote 2nd line support to Clients and assist with 3rd line support.
  • Follow ups with Clients on pending technical and non-technical issues.
  • Support Account Reviews and Business Analysis discussions.

Testing

  • Execute test cases on the web and mobile application in alignment with new features and web releases.
  • Coordinate with Operations on technical defects on the system.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 -3 years working experience in any of the following industries:
  • Software (Enterprise, SaaS)
  • Farming & Agriculture
  • Food/Ingredients Sourcing
  • FMCG/CPG
  • Logistics & Cold Chain
  • Retail, Wholesale, Food Service
  • Food Safety, Auditing & Certification (e.g. HACCP, Global GAP, RFA)
  • Conversational English or higher level is a must.
  • Candidate should be collaborative, resourceful and pragmatic.
  • Candidate should already be present in Bangkok or Oslo, with valid work permits.

Nice to Haves:

  • French, Portuguese (Conversational to Business Level)
  • Experience working / living in Africa
